Colorado's parks offer great adventures for tourists with many trails and wildlife. Colorado has the fun, adventure and excitement for anyone to enjoy with an endless variety of new experiences. To name a few, there is hang gliding, golfing, dog sledding, mountain biking, rock climbing, camping, boating, hunting, skiing, or just taking a scenic drive and enjoying the beauty.

The Western part of the state is the rugged Rocky Mountains and is a great getaway for rock climbers and campers in the summer. The Colorado River and many other rivers and streams are favorite places to go fishing, boating, rafting and canoeing.

Skiing, snowboarding and other winter sports are hot activities in the Colorado cold. There are 7 world-class ski areas in the area where tourists and Colorado residents come to enjoy, these include the: Copper, Keystone, Breckenridge, A-Basin, Loveland, Vail and Beaver Creek Colorado.

Colorado has a beautiful climate to visit the many parks year round, with more than 300 days of sunshine and low humidity. The average temperatures vary greatly throughout the state because of the changes in elevation. The mountain ski resorts receive over 300 inches of snow which make it a winter visitors paradise.
